Fabio and Sandro are
known not only by the perfect synchronism and mutual musical
feeling, but also for their transcendental technique and extraordinary
artistic interpretative endowments.
Fabio and Sandro Gemmiti were born in Sora (Fr)
- ITALY - in the 1967. They graduated in piano in five years
and with full marks under Mrs. Licia Mancini's direction.
Winners of numerous prizes in musical contests
for piano among which: first place and special prize "F.
LISZT" at "7 th National Piano Contest K. CZERNY";
silver medal at "14 th International Piano Contest F. LISZT";
2 nd prize at International Piano Contest B. BARTÓK";
1 st prize at "2 nd International Piano Contest Rome 1992".
Chosen to represent Italy at "12 th International Piano
Contest F. CHOPIN" of Warsaw , they gained an engagement
for concerts in Vienna by Bösendorfer Klavierfabrik.
Their repertoire ranges from Bach, Mozart, Chopin,
to Ravel, Rachmaninov, Gershwin and the contemporary composers,
as well as unknown repertoire as Beethoven's 9th Symphony or Stravinskij's
Le sacre du Printemps for two pianos, four hands.
Thanks to the intense career on two pianos,
they are now acclaimed in the most prestigious music halls in
